Qumu Webcasting & Video Solutions

Through a referral from another client, I was asked to consult with McKinley Media on a redesign of one of their existing clients. I set up the initial environment and site architecture. The theme was developed from a PSD provided by the marketing company. I was asked to reproduce their vision. The project was successful. After my role in this project, McKinley Media has done a great job building this site into an award winning website.

I was asked to consult on the beginning stages of this project with McKinley Media. They needed someone to train them on Joomla and push their vision with-in the framework and 3rd party components. My solution was a tight relationship wit McKinley Media and an innovative mind to solving the technical challenges that were thrown our way. We used multiple components to achieve the dynamic feel to this site. I enjoyed working with another talented designer/developer on this project.

Franklin Printing Press

Consulting on the production of this well known Maine Printing Company. This simple site has a clean look and feel with an easy-to-use FTP upload form. This site is a promotional tool for Franklin, but is primarily a part of their every day business.

Spark Creative needed an assistance on producing a CMS site for a printing company with the ability to upload large documents while maintaining their long standing brand. Our solution was a quick design session with the client and a couple days of solid development. The theme/template was simple but right on and the client was ready to launch.

Group Dynamic

Contracted by Spark Creative to co-produce the redesign of the Group Dynamic website. Joomla was the solution that allowed us to train the client to update and maintain the website without having an in-house developer on staff.

Spark Creative needed someone to consult on the production of this website. The design would be a collaborative effort the client, Spark and myself. They requested the site be "dynamic" and clean for their user base. A custom theme and styled components is what makes this site stand out from others. The clean content architecture lets users find the information and forms needed to process their claims. Taking the time to learn the business helped us build a usable site.

C&J Trailways

Working with Spark Creative on developing another consistent brand for C&J Trailways. Design was primarily consistent with Concord Coach, Boston Express and Dartmouth Express, handled by Chris Trafford. I was responsible for re-producing all the Joomla CMS architecture and theme development. This was the last of the 4 website. Development was streamlined and site was produced in record time.

Consult on the development of the site architecture and on-going support for building out the websites consistency. In no time at all, we had this site up and driving traffic. The whole process of building out these 4 websites was a learning process on best practices and consistent website development. Since training for updates was a necessary, having 4 sites in same CMS was helpful to to updates moving forward.

Dartmouth Coach Lines

Working with Spark Creative on developing another consistent brand for Dartmouth Coach. Design was primarily consistent with Concord Coach and Boston Express, handled by Chris Trafford. I was responsible for re-producing all the Joomla CMS architecture and theme development. Knowing this was going to be 4 branded sites, we had the foresight to build one at a time and keep a similar layout.

Consult on the development of the site architecture and on-going support for building out the websites consistency. Training for updates was a necessary considering this is a public transportation company. Working on another project with Spark Creative to co-produce this site. The client is now able to update weather conditions, change arrivals and departures and promote holiday traveling easily with out an on-staff web developer.

Boston Express Bus

Working with Spark Creative on developing another consistent brand for Boston Express. Design was primarily consistent with Concord Coach and handled by Chris Trafford. I was responsible for all the Joomla CMS architecture and theme development.

Concord Coachlines

Hired by Spark Creative to consult on developing a consistent brand for Concord Trailways and 3 other bus companies. Their designs will have a similar layout with different brand elements and content. Concord was the first site developed and is the largest of the 4. Design was primarily handled by Chris Trafford, I was responsible for all the Joomla CMS architecture and theme development.

I was asked to consult on the development of a custom theme and on-going support for building out a 4 branded websites. Joomla gave us the ability for the client and partner marking firm Spark Creative to co-produce the large website with multiple updated pages daily. The client is now able to update weather conditions, change arrivals and departures and promote holiday traveling easily with out an on-staff web developer.

Maryanne Comaroto Live

I was hired by well known relationship expert & book author, Maryanne Comaroto to develop a custom online presence. Working with small west coast marketing firm to help develop content. I provided a full web solution and 2 years of on-going maintenance.

I was asked to build a custom CMS solution with consulting on page layouts, information architecture and on-going support/training. Goal was to manage the clients needs with-in their budget. Using Joomla CMS, I was able to build a community for Maryanne to post podcast, streaming video, blog and communicate to her fans. This was a great relationship and lasted over 2 and half years.

Drink Less Sugar

Contacted by Spark Creative and Maddie's Beverage Company to produce a beverage review website. Built in Joomla, Spark Creative contracted me to produce a fun, colorful website for parents to view while educating themselves on the amount of sugar content in most kids juice boxes and pouches.

A website that would educate parents while making them laugh! A simple template would not due.. they needed a custom theme that did not look any other Joomla site. In partnership with Chris Trafford & Spark Creative, we started with an installation of Joomla 1.5 and a custom web 2.0 template. Simple design and color pallet with a custom animated rating system. Client can update / add new beverages, manage comments and users.

Maine Voice Center Web Site

Contacted by Spark Creative and The Maine Voice Center to produce a simple brochure website. Built in Joomla, Spark Creative contracted 423 to produce a small 5 page brochure website.

A new website that would not look dated in a few years. In partnership with Chris Trafford & Spark Creative, I developed a custom web 2.0 template for Joomla 1.5.
